Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 11, 2025.

1) Who we are

Liam Crowe LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides concierge technology services to residential clients: network design and management, device setup, backup and security, and ongoing support.

Primary contact for privacy: privacy@liamcrowe.llc • Support: 888-895-2552

2) What this policy covers

This explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, how we protect it, how long we keep it, and your choices. It applies to our websites and portals under the liamcrowe.com and liamcrowe.llc domains, our client support systems (ticketing, invoicing), and on-site and remote services we perform for you.

3) The information we collect

A. You provide directly

  • Contact details (name, email, phone, service address)
  • Billing details (payment method, billing address)
  • Support content (tickets, forms, emails, call notes)
  • Device lists and service preferences
  • Photos or videos you share with us

B. Collected during service delivery

  • Network, device, and system metadata (IP/MAC, firmware versions, uptime/alerts)
  • Configuration details you ask us to manage (SSIDs, VLANs, policies)
  • Credentials only if you ask us (admin accounts, Wi-Fi keys, API tokens)

C. From our tools and providers

  • Payment processors (tokenized payment info)
  • Monitoring & management tools (device health/alerts)
  • Hosting & security tools (access/error logs, performance)

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 and our services are not directed to them.

4) How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve services you request
  • Support & troubleshooting, including diagnostics and fixes
  • Billing & account management (invoices, receipts, renewals)
  • Security and safety (fraud/misuse detection, access control)
  • Internal documentation & training (see photos section)
  • Marketing with consent (testimonials, public case studies)

We use non-identifying, aggregated data (e.g., average uptime, common failure types) to improve our services.

5) Photos & project content

Non-identifying project content. We may capture photos or diagrams that do not show faces, names, addresses, family photos, or other identifying features. We use these internally for documentation/training and, in de-identified form, in marketing (e.g., a close-up of a rack build). We avoid or blur personal items.

Identifying images or testimonials. If a photo could reasonably identify you or your household (wide interior/exterior shots, people), we will ask for your explicit permission before any external use. You can withdraw permission for future use.

Cameras & microphones. We never activate or monitor your cameras or microphones except when you request support and grant access for that purpose. No continuous live monitoring.

If you prefer no photos at all, tell us—we will respect that.

6) Credentials & secrets handling

  • We recommend client-owned password managers with shared vaults.
  • If you ask us to store credentials, we keep them in an encrypted secrets manager with role-based access and audit logging.
  • No passwords or keys in email subjects, plain-text tickets, or screenshots.
  • Unique credentials per client; rotate/revoke at off-boarding or on request.
  • We do not sell or share credentials.

7) When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers acting on our behalf (RMM/PSA, payment processors, hosting, email, backup), under contracts limiting use to providing their services to us.
  • With your direction (e.g., coordinating with your electrician or contractor).
  • For legal reasons (to comply with law/court orders or protect rights, safety, and security).

We can provide a current list of key service providers upon request.

8) Data retention

  • Account & billing records: kept while you are a customer and as required by tax/accounting laws.
  • Support records & configurations: kept while needed for service and for reasonable periods afterwards.
  • Credentials: deleted within 30 days of off-boarding unless you request a different timeline.
  • Backups & logs: rotate on fixed schedules; some data may persist for a limited period due to normal backup cycles.

9) Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards: encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive data, access controls, MFA on admin systems, and security monitoring. No system is 100% secure; we will notify you of any breach of personal information as required by law and our contracts.

10) Your choices & rights

  • Access / update: ask for a copy of your information or corrections.
  • Delete: request deletion of information we don’t need to keep (subject to legal/contractual retention).
  • Opt-outs: opt out of non-essential emails or photo usage at any time.
  • Do Not Track: we do not respond to browser DNT signals.

California (CCPA/CPRA): If applicable, you may request access or deletion, or opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information. To exercise rights, email privacy@liamcrowe.llc.

11) International data

Our services are primarily provided in the United States. If data is processed outside your state or country, we use appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

12) Third-party links & integrations

Our websites and apps may link to third-party sites or integrate with third-party devices and services (e.g., Apple, Ubiquiti, Ecobee, Home Assistant). Their privacy practices are their own; please review their policies.

13) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the updated version with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted or communicated directly when feasible.
